And that's just it. Francis has said nothing to cause us to believe that he is unwilling to follow and accept JVG's system.

Nobody's resisting, we're trying to execute our offense.

We've only been together for 10 or 11 days and we're trying to implement a whole new offense and a whole new defense, so it's kind of hard to know the different calls."

Sounds like a guy who is willing to accept a new role, but is finding it hard to make that transition, which is acceptable cause this team is trying to learn a whole new system under a new coach.

I know this is a preseason game, but I felt we all would be more motivated to go out and play hard, but it didn't work out like that.

This is the only thing I find unacceptable - the lack of effort. Preseason isn't about wins or losses. It's about staying focused and dedicated, putting forth effort and coming together as a team under JVG - something they've yet to truly show. If they do that, and still lose, that's fine w/ me. Why? Cuase it's only preseason

Plus, if you happen to read the article on JVG today in the Chronicle you would've read that he wasn't singling out Francis, and that they are both on the same page. I'd be more than happy to post it if it hasn't already, cause it definitely shoots this issue dead.

Now THAT I agree with and is starting to really tick me off. He's always been all talk, yet never has shown it on the court. Now's the time to show it....cause I for one am getting sick of him saying he'll change, but never does. To his credit though, this is only the beginning of his second year with Yao, and Yao will definitely have a bigger role than last season. Which is more the reason why we should wait till at least a few weeks into the season before blasting the Franchise.

One more time! I do not believe the words that come out of Steve's mouth! I don't care about any backtracking in the media by any coach or player! It's time for results! Just win baby!
