Only 1 person proposed that we could get Garnett with 3 picks. I said that we'd have to start with EG (who is already looking studly) and our #5 just to get the Wolves to talk. I do agree that keeping our #5 and trading Cat in a deal for Garnett could be a way to go. I just don't know if Steve can deal with not having Cat. A guy like Butler or Woods along with Garnett and Franchise could be a very solid 3-some. 2 superstars (which most championship caliber teams have) and 1 very solid roleplayer would be a great start to a move to a new stadium.
If woods is the next Mcgrady, why wouldn't we want him. Is it he doesn't fit our soory "system"? T'Wolves could get a whole lot more than what the Rockets are offering.
Ridiculous. I like KG, but no way do I like his salary. IMO he's a T-Wolf for life unless someone like Cuban decides to take a major hit to the luxury tax part of his wallet.
RocketsPimp, I do agree that KG gets paid too much, but that's only a concern if we have KG's contract AND we aren't any good. We couldn't add player's to help out easily then. However, if having Steve and KG together made us contenders every year then it doesn't matter so much how much KG is making. Our owner is willing to spend some big bucks, especially moving into a new stadium where he needs to be bold and show his committment.
