    1. He has been at A&M before as a coordinator under Slocum.
    2. He knows what it takes to recruit in Texas.
    3. Auburn treated him like crap a couple of years ago with the Petrino situation.

Sip is the aggy word for a UT fan.

It comes from the days when A&M was an all male gay military college and UT was a liberal arts college. A&M students believed UT students sipped tea all day.

    Really?!

That's stupid as hell. I lived in College Station for a year and a half, and thankfully never heard anything as r****ded as that...

Although I avoided A&M heavy things and refrained from talking sports with anyone there purposefully.

    poor aggies, blah blah blah

It does suck though having the Aggie version of former longhorn coach John Mackovic. You guys hit rock bottom too and are back up as a football program, don't be so naive and myopic to think it won't happen for A&M.

Manny u think "sip" is lame, do u think "aggy" is lame as well? Same ****

Smokey, "...gay military school"? First off I wouldn't cast "gay" stones b/f looking at your school down in Austin which happens to be infamously known for its gay/homosexual preferences. Second, I'm sure many of you honor your freedom and praise our armed forces from today and years past. A&M put out more officers in WWI and WWII than any of the other armed forces, and continue to put out "real" officers to this day.

I like how discussing our embattled coach has turned into a pissing match from other schools. If u don't want to discuss Fran, maybe u should avoid commenting on threads that don't really pertain to you.

The last time they won a National Championship Hitler was invading Poland.

When they talk about returning to football greatness, they;re reffering to a period between 1985-1999. A time when they paid and bought local talent via $$ in FedEx envelopes. All that cheating and they still couldn't win a National Champioship.

Well...if anybody would know stupid and lame, it would be you.

After all...it takes somebody who is an abundance of both to post a thread with a poll in it on who should stay and who should go from the BBS.

After reading your post...looks like I made the right vote after all.

I would definitely be one of those people.

I can't freaking believe that his drivel has been churned out for years as commentary on my beloved Rockets in the towns major newpaper. There has to be some sort of nepotism going on there.
