"Media hates Houston" is overplayed sometimes. Scola has been in all-star conversations the last few years in Houston. reality is he's not an all-star. He's just borderline enough to be considered

He's not even a borderline All-Star anymore. Still a solid player though.

i remember a couple years ago Scola started the season with insane numbers, so he was at the top of espn MVP articles in November.

I actually predicted he'd put up about 19 and 8.5 when he caught on with Phoenix, which is probably a bit much, but I think we can all agree he's in a much better position to produce with the Suns at this point in his career. I expect Scola to flourish in Phoenix. This isn't a Houston respect thing, we're on Fran's radar in a big way.

Scola was AWESOME, but ... look at the competition in those years.

    2009
Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, and David West

    2010
Tim Duncan, Zach Randolph, Pau Gasol, and Dirk Nowitzki

    2011
Pau Gasol, Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Love.

Scola and Lowry were the Kevin Martin of PFs and PGs. Borderline all-stars.
