    #81 Randy Moss
Oct 5: FOX's Jay Glazer reports that the Vikings and Patriots are working on a trade involving Moss, but it can't be finalized until the receiver can agree to a new contract with Minnesota. Glazer nailed the Marshawn Lynch deal earlier Tuesday so we'll see where this leads. We'd be curious why the Patriots would do such a thing with their top wideout when they seem to have their usual "in the hunt" squad again this season, but then again, maybe Moss was all about himself again after not catching a pass in Monday's big victory. Check back soon.

It was funny, Bill Simmons actually broke the story on Twitter by accident when trying to send a DM to someone and then it spread like wild fire lol

I swear I mentioned this trade to a Packers friend of mine last month and he went ballistic just picturing it. He def. didnt want Favre getting Moss.
This trade makes so much sense on both sides. I really want to see it go down.

Geez, the Patriots are the best organization in sports. Watch them add 2 more high round draft picks while the Vikings go all or bust and then squander Peterson's career for the next 6 years.

So they're looking for draft picks back? Vikes have some vets in the defense that could help lead and focus the young NE defense.

Vikings will regret this. They won't make the Super Bowl this year, with or without Moss, and will be stuck paying him a giant signing bonus.

This deal would be goodfor Tavaris? Jackson. Moss and Rice with Peterson that's a solid offense

Belichick really seems to be banking on what happens post-lockout: expanded rosters, extra picks to move up for 2012, etc.

Not a move I agree with it, since well you don't trade the one spot you know you're loaded on when there is other more pressing issues.

This would be a strange move for the Patriots -- Welker thrives because of the attention Moss receives. With Welker's balky knee it's a pretty risky move for a 3rd rounder.

    Attitude issues..?

Moss is still a top 3 WR in the NFL, whoever has him this season will be lucky
