Yeah, I heard it was root canal or dental infection that kept him out for a good while last season. He should get over that problem by now.
With a guy like Bob Sura on the team, whom DA has complimented highly, you have to figure Houston is a tough team to ask for games off from no matter how hurt you are. And that's awesome.
You know I was looking at DA's carrer number of games played Cleveland 66 Cleveland 38 LA Clippers 64 San Antonio 82 Portland 70 Portland 76 Portland 51 Portland 47 Does anyone else find it interesting that the ONLY year he played a full 82 games was with a very good San Antonio team? He even started all 82 games. Maybe playing on a winning team makes those aches, pains and injuries go away. If that is the case then we should count on him playing a full 82 games this year.
OK!! That's it !! DA starts all 82 regular season games, even if we have to push him out there in a wheelchair!!
I tend to agree with you. Also, when he was in Portland he played a lot when they were good (01-02 and 02-03) and not so much the last two years. T-Mac only played 64 games (03-04) on a horrible Magic team before he joined the Rox mainly because of tendonitis in his right knee. Last year he had the same injury but he persevered. I remember the game against the Warriors when he was limping pretty badly. IT'S A LOT MORE FUN AND MOTIVATING TO PLAY ON A GOOD TEAM
