Nuggets? Better than the Rockets? Please.

    1. Steve is better than Nick "the Quick and Declining."

    2. Mobley is better than... umm... their shooting guards

    3. Rice is better than umm... their small forwards

    4. KT, while not McDyess, is underrated. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised that production from the 4 isn't going to diminish much. KT is a better rebounder, and has perhaps a better post game, too. Not as good of a jump shot, but that could change. KT's also a better passer. Mo was't bad, but KT's really excellent.

    5. LaFrentz is better than anything we can throw up at the 5, but Cato could surprise. Or the Rockets could play some nasty small ball without a C against most teams. Not like a true 5 is necessary against most lineups.

Add to the mix a nice, deep bench... and well, I don't understand where this guy's coming from.

Oh, and puedlfor did mention that McDyess ain't playin' till December, I believe :).

There are so many factors that could go right for Houston. Oscar Torres could be a real steal. Griffin could be productive in his first year, especially as a weak-side shotblocker. Morris could be a Shandon Anderson type defensive hustle player. Cato could actually play D and rebound. Jason Collier... well, ok... I'll stay away from there :).

I don't see as much potential upside for the Nuggets. Oh yeah... Rider... umm... *giggle*
