I totally agree that she deserves to be mourned, I'm with you on that boat.
James Brown's death was a big deal, he's an musical icon.

Anna was a pop icon. She is being mourned. maybe not by clutchfans but there are plenty of people morning her lost. Hey lets not forget she's a fellow Houstonian. Worked at Ricks. maybe some of ya'll dropped a few bucks back in the day!

 

Her contribution was the millions of men and some women jacking off to her pics.

I don't mean to trash anna. the coverage of her death has been excessive.

 

Many email client/messaging clients have an audio notification letting you know you have a new message or email waiting for you.

Plus reading a thread, while at home listening to music and having something else drown it out and wondering where the **** it's coming from until you scroll down is pretty annoying too.

 

No sh*t, tinman. Most companies allocate speakers to your computer these days. Just because you have a crappy company doesn't mean you have to keep pulling this crap.

I guess Anna Nicole Smith's family should never have been allowed around prescription pills. It was just announced she died due to an accidental drug overdose...same as her son.

That's just unbelievable that they both died that way in less than six months.

And how would they come to the conclusion that it was "accidental" and that the lawyer dude was not behind both cases?

 

Well...they were both taking multiple prescription pills. Anna was on a combination of 9 different prescription drugs. They said this was investigated for a criminal element and none could be found. So, Howard K. Stern...if he did it...is a genius. I find it way more likely that mixing pills is a bad idea and taking certain pills for prolonged periods isn't without risk.

even if you believed the lawyer was responsible I'm not sure how you could prove it. unless he got the drugs and lied about the other drugs they were taking to a doctor to get those prescriptions. but if these drugs were prescribed to anna and her son the doctors are responsible imo. stern can always say, hey i'm not a doctor, I was just getting them medicine.

anyway, looks like there was a criminal investigation and there will be one in her son's death.

DANIA BEACH, Fla. — Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental drug overdose after she was found unresponsive at a hotel, authorities said Monday.

"We found nothing to indicate any foul play," said Chief Charlie Tiger of the Seminole police department.

Neither Tiger nor Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper immediately said what drug or drugs were involved in her death. Perper said the detailed autopsy showed no evidence of disease.

Smith, 39, had been found unresponsive Feb. 8 in her room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood.

The weeks after her death that day were filled with public courtroom drama and private whispers about what might have killed her. Officials delayed releasing the autopsy results because of additional evidence, not publicly released.

Perper's initial examination had revealed no serious injuries to her body. Perper said then that prescription drugs, but no illegal drugs, were found in Smith's hotel room, though he wouldn't identify them.

Smith had arrived at the Hard Rock on Feb. 5 and planned to leave four days later aboard a new yacht that her companion Howard K. Stern was arranging to buy. She was seldom seen outside her room during her stay: She was said to be suffering from a stomach flu before she died.

Because her death was so sudden, and because her 20-year-old son Daniel died under suspicious circumstances five months earlier, there has been speculation about possible criminal activity surrounding the deaths. The Seminole Police Department investigated the case because the casino is on tribal land.

An inquest into Daniel's death is scheduled to start Tuesday in the Bahamas, where he died.

Smith grew up in Texas and went from topless dancer to Playboy Playmate of the Year, Guess jeans model and bride of 89-year-old oilman J. Howard Marshall II. She took her fight for Marshall's estimated $500 million fortune as far as the Supreme Court, and the ongoing battle could make her infant daughter, Dannielynn, very wealthy. Stern and two other men have claimed to be the baby's father.

 

I agree...looks like he will be getting away...but as Austin70 said, my personal opinion is that he was responsible one way or another...
