Well, with all the injuries I'd say my bets are done...However, in the next 3 weeks they play the Rams, Bucs and Giants...If we go 2 of 3, I'm happy... I do think TO needs to get the ball more, but is Brad going to deliver, I'm not sure about that...TO will be so happy once Romo returns...
They both wish! I mean he puts up very nice numbers, until it counts in the playoffs, and he has a big drama queen factor.
I think a lot of people forget that Tony Romo has only been playing for 2 years. Heck, even Peyton Manning had the big game flop reputation and was terrible in the playoffs for the first couple years in thie league.
Keep in mind I said he is TRYING to have a T Mac like career. He has years worth of playoff failure, whinging, phantom injury and the like before he actually is at a T Mac level.
Really? Wow... cool deal. I've heard very good things about him. And he's definitely got a pretty sweet beat going on now.
Yeah...one of the funniest guys you'd ever hope to meet. So funny for me to see him in that role. I told him whatever credibility ESPN might have had before, they completely lost in my eyes because we used to argue sports all the time in college, and I know he doesn't know any more than I do. His blogs are dominated by other friends of mine making comments to him regarding inside jokes that I know most readers are going, "what???" at.
Wow, that would be huge. You should have seen the type of outburst/meltdown I had at work the other day whenever I heard he was out for a month. He IS my fantasy team.
I have to respectfully disagree. Romo has put up decent numbers in his two playoff games, albeit not as gaudy as his regular season numbers both years. The guy is not the reason his team lost their two playoff games the past two seasons and yes I am including the Seattle game because they coulda shoulda won it before the Romo FG fumble. MadMax- you're a Baylor alum? That's pretty cool you went to school w/ Mosley. The guy does the best Jerry Jones impression.
Lawlz... so apparently after speaking with his hero Brett Favre, Tony Romo now thinks he can throw strikes with a busted pinkie. I can only imagine how that convo went. TR : "Do you really think I can play Brett?" BF : "**** Yeah you can still play! Hell back in 97 I had a busted-up jaw from a bar-room brawl and still went out and threw 4 TD vs the Lions. Pain Killers is mighty tasty!"
Yeah. Usually the pinkie is the last finger touching the ball and if starts to get sore or uncomfortable it could have some affect on velocity, distance, accuracy, etc.
lol..now that's funny... I think Romo should sit a week as a healthy Romo is better for the playoff run...Hell, we're playing the f'n Rams...save it for the Giants if he wants to play so bad...My concern is further injury that could sideline him longer... I repeat, train wreck waiting to happen...
I think he is going to be in a uniform, but he is going to be the 3rd quarterback. (Like Carson Palmer did) and Brad Johnson is going to start.
