Eh, oh well...I thought we weren't supposed to make the playoffs when Tmac got hurt. Then we couldn't get past the first round because we didn't have anyone to make the big shots. They don't know to much, they just follow a consensus and the most popular teams lead the charge.
we've been the "if they're healthy, watch out!" team for years now. it's time we finally stay healthy! i say we need to go to great lengths (like having yao sit several games like back to backs) and not playing t-mac (if he's still on the team) until he's finally ready.
or sign a legit backup C and have trust in him and play yao 25 mins a game or just trade tracy for another perimeter guard and accept the fact we're not going to get equal value in a healthy tracy and move on thats the only way we "might" get through a season with few injuries
Hmmmm... it really is a tough one but the fact is we still have alot to prove. Tmac, Yao, Artest, Brooks, Scola... everyone wearing a Rockets uniform should have some form of redemption on their mind. Let's not walk in their with the mentality that we need to beat L.A. but we have to beat everyone. If Ron Artest walks so be it. If Tmac is traded then let's get something GOOD for him. Either way this team will shape itself nicely.
My sentiments exactly. I don't see how people believe that the Blazers/Cleveland/Magic have a better chance than the Rox. The Rox are only going to get better this off-season.
To me this article lost a lot of credibility when they said Shane guards Kobe as well as anyone. The man seems to guard him better then anyone in the NBA from what I have seen. But other then that, they are partially right. No way we keep Yao, McGrady and Artest next season. I get the feeling Artest while loving Houston, definitely desires the starting 2 position and McGrady probably does as well. Don't know about Yao's health but us getting a consistent number 2 option will help us, if we don't slack on our defense. Scola is reliable most of the time but we need another scorer with range.
