Rosen is a massive troll who just happens to have been lucky enough to have gotten involved in basketball. At this point, I think he is hating on Hakeem just to piss off the posters.

Rosen seems to have some hang-up about what a center is/should be. He likes slow, thuggish, old-school (emphasis on the OLD) players like Artis Gilmore and Robert Parish. Now that's exciting.

He doesn't like Hakeem b/c Hakeem brought a lot more finesse into the center position, ignoring the fact that Hakeem was also more intimidating and a better defender than any other center of his era.

And then he has the balls to call David Robinson a traditional center. David Robinson played much more like a forward than Hakeem ever did.

Occasionally Rosen gets it right, but he seems to enjoy being a douche more than providing any real insight. Don't feed the troll.

Rosen sees basketball with Laker colored glasses.

That is a lot easier than tryin to divine what in the hell Rosen was thinking.

I've heard many reasons to not give Dream his due, but that explanation from Rosen just baffles me to no end.

Charley...You fail in a most ignominious fashion, so this truckload of fail is for you.

That sucks that the refs admit to calling fouls on Artest more.

I don't get that either. Alonzo was a franchise center in Charlotte and Miami, but now way was he a better back to the basket player than Hakeem, and Hakeem overall was way better than Mourning.

I dont think you can compare Artest with Rodman. Rodman was acting crazy whereas Artest is real nuts!

    Does it matter?

The article basically confirmed that the donkeys in zebra stripes keep a special eye out for him.

This makes me sick. Superstar calls are one thing, make-up calls are another. But it's these phantom calls and special "watching" of certain players just because of preconceived stigma about them that brings NBA officiating to an all-time low.

It's no secret that our team gets screwed over by the refs as much as any team in the league. No doubt, Artest will get the brunt of it this season.

Damn, between Artest and Yao, looks like the Rockets may have a massive number of fouls called against them this year.
