they are actually.....if they were calling him a rule violator, he would just be moving back 10 yards
really? I seemed to have miss Roger Goodell's press conference where he called him a cheater. wait... so now you are saying that a rule violator is penalized by yards and a cheater is penalized by suspension?
Taking performance enhancing drugs = cheating I know this is hard for you to swallow but Brown and Cushing are both cheaters As is the guy on the Bucs who just got suspended for an entire YEAR for doing the same thing that Brown did its a fairly simple concept
thats a pretty far out hypothetical situation but i think u can answer ur own question if that actually were the case. but its not he cheated and he, the Texans and the fans are paying the price
I can answer the question, but I want your answer, which you are not giving for some reason. It's not that "far out" of a hypothetical by any means. And why is it not the case exaclty? You assume that he intentionally went out of his way to take a supplement with a banned substance. That is were you are making a your mistake.
If you are asking me that "if Brown says he made an honest mistake...would i consider him a cheater?" yes , i would.... If you are asking me that "if the NFL admitted that Brown made an honest mistake...would I consider him a cheater?" no not if you WANT to believe that he didnt cheat Im not assuming anything. I KNOW FOR A FACT...BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT the following.... 1) He put PEDs in his body 2) He tested positive for those PEDs 3) PEDs are performance enhancing drugs and they are called that because they enhance performance (i.e. give you an edge, maybe a slight one...but an edge nonetheless, that wouldnt have without taking them) 4) Apparently, which was unbeknownst to me before BuckT posted the link in this thread, it is WIDELY reported and well known that these supplements have been and can be tainted and that the NFL and the NFLPA are keenly aware of this HOWEVER, Duane Brown decided that the positives of taking this supplements outweighed the negatives of them being tainted and took the supplement anyway bc it helped him. He certainly wouldnt have taken it if it didnt. In conclusion, he cheated. If he didnt cheat, he would be playing on Sunday The following is JUST AN ASSUMPTION: He would have made a bigger "stink" about not knowing if he truly didnt know....instead, he "manned up" (as u called it) and took his punishment that he deserved
that's all i needed to know. Fact: we don't know whether this was an honest mistake by him or not. I can admit that I don't know for sure....you can't
All I know is that Cush and Brown better be super careful from now on out. We don't need them suspended for 1 full year.
