well he was man enough to say he did something wrong. You can't admit that your argument for calling him a "cheater" is flat out idiotic

i actually do root for the Texans...ive had season tickets for 6 years now

basically what u are saying is that if we were discussing Demarcus Ware, he would be a cheater...but since he is a Texans player, its the supplements fault

Nope. Cowboys suck should just be my sig, thrown in there for truth

I was just saying hardcore Texans fans will be defensive and other teams fans will pounce on this and use it against us.

I was just guessing you were not a Texans fan from the comments.

Yes, widely reported. In conjunction with numerous NFL, MLB, Olympic, Tour de France, etc... suspensions and at least one congressional investigation into increased regulation of the supplement industry.

well, then that makes me think Brown knew what he was POTENTIALLY doing but the rewards , in his mind, outweighed the risk of getting caught

you fail to see the difference between cheating and rule violation. If you equate the 2, then fine. Everytime someone is penalized, on or off the field, then they are a cheater under your definition. If you can live with that, then go right ahead.

if he had "gotten away" with it for the next 5 years....and then wrote a book after he retired and stated that he knew there was a chance he could have gotten caught, but he never actually got caught, would he, in ur mind, be a cheater or rule violater? (probably a rhetorical question in ur mind but ill ask anyway)

Or at least, that's what he says. As has pretty much every person banned in any of the leagues for steroids.

Texans fans you don't have to drink the Kool Aid, as I said with cushing, this comes with having a big time team. no need to go into full defense mode, its pathetic

This really, really hurts. It comes at a horrible time. If Schaub is pummeled on Sunday by Ware, Brown is even going to look more like an idiot and fans will be furious with him. I hope the Texan's coaches are smart enough to compensate for what's coming, blitz mania.

What this means is that basically Brown is a sloppy jackass. Look, the NFL & the Texans have pounded into these guys' thick skulls that over-the-counter supplements are risky and dangerous because you just never know what's in them. Brown's attitude toward food (he loves him some hamburgers) & keeping in shape has always been loosey-goosey and this time it caught up with his fat butt. I wonder what the atmosphere will be around here after Sunday when they have to scrape what's left of Schaub off the turf because Demarcus Ware bulldozed the dog***** out of him.

so are you going to acknowledge my earlier statement...is this how you think or isnt it...

we are also assuming this is deemed illegal because it gives an unfair advantage in terms of performance. All banned substances are not necessarily there because of that reason.

Cheater is simply too strong of a word for how little you actually know about the situation. That's a completely reasonable stance. Period. BUt if you don't want to be reasonable, then let me know so i can just stop

its a silly question.....but as soon as they start banning offensive linemen for 3 games for a holding call, ill have a better answer to ur question

but....i think anyone who takes a performance enhancing substance, which is essentially what Brown did, is a cheater...and obviously the NFL does too....in fact, if he does it again, he misses 8 games......and if he does it a 3rd time, he misses 12 months. A bit strict for a "violation" dontcha think?

you are incorrect unless you are talking about illegal narcotics

i know he tested positive and that he didnt appeal one iota...is there anything else?

im taking the same stance as the NFL....so i guess we are both unreasonable in your opinion. i guess you can stop
