I think we shut down trade talks weeks before he announced his primary destination, before that we were on his small list of teams. But this is Fred’s team, we can’t bring another point guard here to take his shine. He’s on the cover SLAM. Fred is the franchise player, we can’t trade him for a trash player like Fox or KD or any of these so called star players. Smh

Keep in mind Butler didn’t want the Warriors, but they still traded for him and got him to sign an absurd extension.

 

It seems like the Rockets have trouble engaging third teams to get involved. Why couldn’t it have been the Rockets who facilitated LaVine to the Kings? If we wanted a star player that fit our timeline, Fox fit the bill.
