The point is to get better, and not to go backwards. Fox (if available) makes us better, case closed. There's no guarantee that a superstar will be available and if he was no guarantee that he would come here. With Fox I can definitely see us getting through the first round of playoffs (depending on who we play against), and going at least 6 in the 2nd round. If that were to happen (Rockets making serious noise), then you'll see legit players (superstars) looking our way because we would only be that piece away from being legit title contenders.

You are also running the risk of PHX not bottoming out and your picks become worth way less. We assume that'll happen but we don't know for sure. The Rockets, whether we like it or not, look to have pushed themselves into a bit of a corner making the trade for the PHX picks when they did and extending Jalen. You need to cash in and consolidate your young players or risk losing them for nothing later on waiting for stars that may never shake loose.
Yup, it's all a risk. To me, fox locks us into a no hope situation which for me sucks. I'm willing to risk it for the biscuit, so to speak. I won't be surprised if stone throws everything away for fox though.
