What a joke of a network. I can agree with some things on the Republican agenda, but that channel gives them a bad name. Unbelievable. I usually am not surprised with what they say on there, but damn they continue to raise the bar.

I'm not a huge Vick fan, but this is going overboard. Cheney can shoot someone in the face and not only does he not have to pay for his crime, he gets the victim to publicly apologize to him and his family. That's power.

Carlson should be executed for wearing that stupid bowtie. Faux news is just a outlet for idiots to say any and every thing about someone that is not on the far right.

Not that it matters for most of y'all, but has anyone mentioned that Tucker Carlson is a commentator?

Get back to me when you hear this in Fox's news broadcasts/reporting.

Asian countries don't just kill dogs; they eat dogs. What's the big deal? I don't believe he should be executed, but the President calling to congratulate the team for hiring him (Vick) is just stupid.

Oh please. Fox does everything in their power to blur the line between opinion and news. They broadcast far more opinion than news on a daily basis (by their own admission: 9 hrs of news vs. 15 hrs of opinion), and air only opinion programming during early morning and primetime viewing (when people are most likely to be in front of the tv). Add in the fact that even their "news" reporters are completely biased and seem incapable of reporting stories without intejecting their right-wing opinions, and you begin to see that Fox makes no distinction beween fact and opinion. Carlson is a "commentator" in name only.

Extremely similar to when one starts off with, "With all do respect...", to an authority figure. It usually means the exact opposite from a veteran's(military) point of view.

I never said Carlson was anything other than a commentator. To think otherwise shoes a marked incapability to distinguish between the two. I don't like the guy because I KNOW he presents his side and perspective of things. In fact, I think the ONLY thing I've EVER watched of his was the YouTube clip of Stewart thrashing him and his CNN Crossfire co-host.

Fox has hard news and opinion, same as any other news network. So most of their commentators lean right. Big f**king deal. Olberman leans left. I don't watch him either.

Didn't John Stewart completely destroy this guy on his own show?

Fox is lousy, but they know their demo.

That's the same mentality of the ones who cheer him on today for making touchdowns. Why does it matter how much time has passed? Not saying he should be executed, but the American public seems to forget things pretty quickly, and being good at football sure has a lot to do with that in this case.

Tucker Carlson has worked on four networks: CNN, Fox News, PBS and MSNBC; the last of which I think was also Maddow's first steady on-air gig. I just think Carlson's behavior should be judged independently of what network he's on, although he probably would have never pulled this while he was hosting "Now."

I think he's still just bitter about not getting re-upped on Crossfire after the Jon Stewart monkeydick fight.

Forgiving the man is not forgetting what he did. I wish people would quit saying that.

Him being good at football is why it is known about. If I had a cousin/friend or if I knew someone that wasn't famous and saw he was trying to change I would be proud of him.

No clue why people think most people forgive him because he's good at football

you seem to confuse media and fan outrage.

also I agree the title of this thread isn't fair to fox news as much as I can't stand them
