With a DVR and the Red Zone Channel, I can't watch a real time game anyway.
    Too slow.

Me and my friends all agree that sports would be better with no announcers, no music, just crowd noise and a score/time display.

If they do this with basketball. It will KILL highlights videos and whatnot. Nobody can make a epic mixtape video with Beethoven rocking in the background.

I would prefer listen to the crowd, and sounds from the field like players talking, that music during the game.

Stupid idea. Why in the hell will somebody want music playing while they are watching a football game?? Once they get a billion emails on how dumb this idea is it will be done

I still think this is a dumb idea, but here's some food for thought... at one point, Sportscenter never played any background music during their highlights. It was just the host's voice and the highlights (where you could faintly here the audio from the game itself, tv commentators and crowd noise, in the background).

Nowadays, it would be quite strange to wach highlights like that.

This, I'd rather like to hear the actual atmosphere of the stadium.

    Stupid.

It's ok if they're running highlights or coming in and out of breaks, but not while the game is going on. I remember hearing that loud drumming during the 49ers game a couple of weeks ago, thinking it was something in the stadium. It just sounded dumb and out of place.
