    Oooo! I love me some 151! :)

What part of "season tickets waiting list" don't you understand? Is it the "waiting" part? Or maybe the word "season"? Which is it?

season ticket wait list is BS. There were available season tickets. I am on it and am offered tickets every year. There is a wait list for prime seating. So again, like I said ticket sales will go down. It will not be a huge deal but alienating your fans is

there are available tickets, now. there will be lots more next season. if the texans are arrogant enough to think they can sell out every game forever and ever, amen, no matter what they do on the field, then they're even more arrogant than the offensive minds who assure us we don't really need first round talent because they can win with anyone in their system.

they haven't. i'm exaggerating...using sarcasm...all that stuff. they do make that comment about running backs.

    i'm happy for you that you're still defending this team/organization! i can't.

I think we obviously have problems and I'm just as disappointed in the season as everyone else. I'm just not ready to trash the Kubiak regime and call them a disaster or arrogant three games into it.

We were the worst team in the league last year. I know we all wanted to see vast improvements in the first three games, but maybe we should take a step back and ask how realistic that really was. If they go 2-14 again and look as terrible as last year all season long, I'm down with complaining and maybe we should take a look to see if there was a mistake made. No way I'm doing it less than 20% into the season.

it's not about the record. it's about looking like they're not in it. not even remotely. it takes them being down 3 touchdowns to get them motivated to put something together.

i was one of the folks tempering optimism here, saying i thought they'd suck. around 5 wins. i can live with that if i can see improvement. i can live with that if i see the promise of what's to come with out #1 pick. i don't see any of it. i'm not talking about seeing them look awesome...or great. but just respectable. so far, they don't look respectable.

and of course it's subject to change...it will eventually change. it better, anyway. but i really don't see a way to spin this positively from what i've seen.

Max, we just don't have the players to be competitive. That's what it all comes down to. It doesn't have anything to do with motivation.

Look at our roster. We still have guys in our starting lineup on both sides of the ball that probably wouldn't even be playing special teams on any other NFL roster. Besides Carr, AJ, Moulds, Flanigan, D. Ryans, and D. Robinson, can you name a player that any other team would be happy to have? Face it, our whole roster is TRASH.

The Houston media built this team up all summer long to be more than it could ever be and we bought into it. We won 2 games last year. I mistakenly thought it was ALL because of bad coaching. A lot of it was, but a lot of it was just because our players blow chimps. Every free agent we've signed has been off of some other team's scrapheap.

Look at our roster. We're still an expansion team.

i agree. the roster is trash. it will take years to remake.

i liked us better when we were an expansion team, ima. i liked us better when we could play with tough competition. when it took the patriots hitting a big play at the end of the game to beat us...when we were sneaking over the goalline to beat the jags...when we were beating the NFC champs. or when we were losing to the colts in Indy, but beating them 14-3 at halftime. those were better days. this team has gone BACKWARDS since then, ima.

this isn't STILL an expansion team. it's much worse than that. i don't think it's asking too much to expect a team to look like they're in the same league as their competition.

i love how the staunch defenders are now all like, "you guys are disappointed?? come on!!! we all knew they'd be this bad."

in the words of ozzie: "psssh....please." you know you didn't think they'd be THIS bad.

i'm not doing a "you're wrong, ha ha!!!" i'm saying that if you're saying NOW that we all should have known this was coming because this team was bad to begin with, that it doesn't comport with reality. i thought we'd struggle to win 5 games. but i had no idea we'd be looking at arguably the worst defense EVER. i assumed we'd see something from mario by now. SOMETHING. not a 3 sack game. but SOMETHING. i assumed that we'd see increased pass rush because mario would be so focused on like what happened at NC State for his teammates. i knew our secondary sucked. i really didn't contemplate them being THIS bad.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying that I was wrong and I should have known.

Man, this is the last time I'll ever admit to being wrong on this bbs.

you're misunderstanding me. i'm saying there was no way to know they'd be this bad!!! none of us thought they'd be this bad. in my worst nightmares, i didn't think they'd be this bad. not after the offseason. not after picking up weaver...and mario...and putzier...and flanagan...and some young help in the draft. no way i thought they'd be this bad. i thought they'd have a hard time stopping teams from passing..but i thought there'd be some pass rush to help out.

i never envisioned us looking this bad through the first 3 games of the season. never.

Texans are sold out as well and jersey sales are dvided up evenly between NFL teams, so every Bush jersey sold pays the Texans as well as the Saints. Just letting you know.

I've heard that excuse for years now... they will go down. Except they haven't. Get back to me when they do.

if the texans are yawning over this, they're making a very big mistake.

The Texans aren't even thinking about this. They're thinking about doing what they can to put a winning product on the field, because that's what will promote long-term interest moreso than any hype regarding Bush or Young would.
