Well all my questions regarding what the the NFL can and cannot do regarding broadcasting a game have been answered - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_on_television
Well I guess I'll be missing the game too because of Fox dropping coverage. I live in Bryan/College Station and have Dish Network. I live only 75 miles away from Houston and I have to watch a team that plays 1000 miles away (The Chicago Bears).
This is happening everywhere, not just SA. Here in New York they announced that they are changing the games as well. We get Chicago vs. Minny.
Yep, I live in CS and I can't watch the game on Cox Cable. This **** really pisses me off. **** Fox. I hope we have CBS from here on out...I haven't checked.
It's easy to figure out for ANY NFL game, man. If the ROAD team is NFC, FOX broadcasts it. It the ROAD team is AFC, CBS broadcasts it. The exceptions are if Monday Night Football or Sunday Night Football have picked up the games. I thought all you EstadoUnidenses knew that already... We are done with NFC teams at Reliant, so all games are CBS from here on.
Dont worry dude, you didnt miss anything. While the Texans oh the usual. Missed tackles, missed blocks and could not figure out how to STOP THE RUN. Third down conversions for the Skins at will. We couldnt even amuse them correctly. An absolutely embarrassing exhibition of professional football.
yes, I'm American. But I'm also Bolivian! As for knowing that....no I didn't, I don't watch Football. I only watch the Texans. (no pun intended) I couldn't give a rats ass about the MLB, NFL, or NBA. It's all about the Astros, Rockets, and Texans for me.
Also, for what it's worth, despite all the supposed "available tickets" according to IC2000, Sunday's game was yet another paid sellout for the Texans with over 70,000 seats sold. If only they had taken Reggie - they would've sold, uhm, 0 more tickets. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20060924_WAS@HOU
There was available tickets and there will be again this week because the Texans suck and Mario williams is worse. Next year will be even funnier when I get the email every week saying "tickets still available". I never got those untill this year!
If anything, the Texan's play during the first 2 home games probably increased concession earnings. Specifically, BEER...
