You don't have to score 30ppg to make it into the HOF. Deke is one of the greatest defensive players of all time. His stats alone are thoroughly sufficient to warrant enshrinement.
I agree about Brooks. James and Head is a pretty small backcourt. In fact, any PG + Head as SG will create serious problems for us defensively. My issue with Head is that I don't see much versatility in his game. He is extremely one-dimensional. I see him now, and for the rest of his NBA career, as a 3-point specialist playing limited minutes. He got way more playing time in his first two years than he would have on almost any, in not all, other NBA teams due to our total and unparalleled lack of guard depth. I like the guy but his lack of PG skills will ultimately render him a reserve due to his lack of size and limited skill set. He won't be the first to face this harsh reality transitioning from a succesful collegiate career to the NBA.
Whilst i love battier, he just brings nothing off the bench. he's game is allabout the litle things like taking charges nd getting steal. you want people who are gonna score off the bench.
