I don't care for Wafer anymore. If he wants to leave,let him. And watch his career burn with the clippers.
I hope e can sign him back cause I think he's a great player. Obviously he's a little rough around the edges but he's a great scorer, quick and young which we need. This is what I would do in order. 1. Try and sign wafer back with out remaining mle $$$ after signing budinger. 2. If he doesn't accept that money then work put a s&t with lac and nyk. Houston trades: tmac and wafer Houston receives: Marcus camby and Larry hughes clips trade: camby clips receive: wafer and mobley knicks trade: Hughes and mobley knicks receive: tmac 3. If we can't workout a s&t then we trade battier to a team with cap and picks for draft picks. Maybe straight up for Memphis 1st round pick since they have 2 other 1st round picks now.
