Has anybody listened to the audio yet???

If i am not mistaken, he pretty clearly says "I dont feel like im really his replacement, They're already looking to make another deal"

Is he implying another trade is in the works?

The Rockets have maintained they're always on the lookout to make trades and upgrade the team. It could simply mean that.

    HAHAHAHA :D

Anderson seems like a pretty solid player, he will have to get used to the NBA game and how fast it can get sometimes.

Not much of a rebounder and from what I hear a horrible defender. He could turn into a decent player but if he is the starter or is playing significant minutes I think we are going to see a lot of "Houston, you have a problem" columns being written.

What Andersen said was, "...they were looking to make some kind of deal before that (that being Yao out for the season)".

Here is Hollinger's article from 2008 on projecting stats for players coming from the top level Euroleague to the NBA. Euro translations - ESPN

Based on Hollinger's formula Andersen will average 8.3 ppg and 4.8 rpg

That is assuming he plays same minutes and you only take his last Euroleague Season. 8.3 ppg and 4.8 rpg aren't bad for 21 minutes of work. Basically by Hollinger's formulas, he would be scoring as well as Wafer in both production and efficiency while still dishing out the same number of assists. His rebounding should be average or slightly below average by the formula for a center.

The word "rimrocker" has a long and storied history in basketball. There's even a D-League team named the Rimrockers. Rimrock is also a widely used geologic term to describe many geologic formations in the Western US. Here's an example of rimrock:

Thus for me, it has a dual meaning referencing both the sport and the country I love.

It has nothing to do with "rim job" and making that connection does not convey wit, cleverness, or humor and in fact makes you and Carl look like tawdry, uncouth, vulgar losers. As proof, the first person on this board to make such a reference to my moniker was Trader_Jorge.

There are some I like as well. Heck, a good percentage of my family could be classified as such. I do, however, detest the people that think it's cute to pretend to be tawdry, uncouth, vulgar losers.

    Who is pretending anything?

I just found somewhat it amusing someone named "rimrocker" (whether the original intent was geography or sports, it also has that other meaning) was wary those who knew about male p*rn stars. It make me chuckle, don't really care what anyone else think of it.
