Wow. Not even a hit of sarcasm about run and shoot not working. None at ALL. I swear.

Let me put it this way to you: at UH, it produced a fantastic team with great recruiting and a Heisman-winning quarterback. For the Oilers, it produced great playoff teams with a real shot at going to the Super Bowl (even though, yes, they didn't go). Run and shoot can work and work well.

 

Ya and the option had Nebraska in the top 5 forever. Time has come and gone. Look at where UH and Nebraska's Heisman winning QBs are now.
