(Fox 26) Texans reached verbal agreement w/ Williams

Hell yes I wanted a pony, I still want a pony.

Anticipation is what gets us out of bed in the morning, realization is at it's best mildly disappointing because you can always imagine more than you can acheive.

I want to be king of the world, be able grant all my own wishes and married to Miss Morgan Fairchild.

 

Unfortunately, the Texans have now not only dissappointed a good portion of its fans but in doing so they have put enormous pressure on Williams in the process. Fans will see ESPN highlights of Bush and later Young. Even if neither would have helped the Texans win, the fans will still miss the excitement of seeing their platyer on the highlights. Fans are already saying "he better be the second coming of Bruce Smith". Imagine first time Bush breaks off a 70 yard TD run.

Then next year, when Young starts hitting the highlights with regularity... jeez...

Cool, we get see the 2 guys Mario Williams will need to stop. Well, maybe LenDale White will drop to us in the 2nd round.

 

no..it turned out good. we won! i still get nervous watching the end, though.

The Texans blew this one BIG TIME !!

Unless this guy is Lawrence Taylor and everything I have read or seen about him says that he does not play hard all the time, then they wasted their 2nd number 1 pick in 4 years.

Pathetic......The Texans are the NFL's version of the LA Clippers.

I imagine Vince will get away from him some of the time but I just don't think VY is gonna take it to the house constantly...he sure will turn a lot of 8 yard losses to 5 yard gains. VY is faster than the defensive guys covering him but its not like college where they can't catch him even when they have the angle.

As bad as this sounds, I am now rooting for Reggie Bush to fail as a player. I need mental closure and the only way I get that is by Reggie Bush failing.

On a side note, VY is an awesome sport. I see him engaging and congratulating both Mario and now Reggie.

It seems like VY ain't that bad a guy.

This is sickening. I was so excited about the Texans upcoming season and now I am just incredibly disappointed. This is about the most horrible thing we could have done.
