    Actually, they should be giddy... they also didn't want Reggie to go to a market like Houston. They want him in NY or SF... with the more historic franchises.

    This is going to rank up there as one of the all-time worst decisions in professional sports draft HISTORY.

    McNair, I know EXACTLY why you took MW, and it's not a good enough reason.

    I have watched a grand total of maybe 3 Texans games since they have come into being, because watching unwatchable bad football is not my idea of a good time. But I was planning on watching some games this year, with either VY or Bush, I didn't really care that much. All along I thought Bush would be the best guy to take, and would be entertaining, if nothing else, and be able to make a bad-to-mediocre offensive team into something possibly pretty good, and at the least potentially exciting to watch.

    Now?

    ugh. Why would anybody want to watch Carr, DDavis and Andre with no help - the 'Worst Offensive Show On Earth' - a second time? I know I won't.

    If this announcement had come on April 1st, there is no doubt it would be nothing but a bad joke.

    But the joke is on the fans of Houston.

    When I think that I actually started to get excited about the Texans again as it was becoming more and more possible that they were going to continue to lose at the end of last season, and therefore be in line to get the 'great' Reggie Bush, it was actually a time of feeling optimistic for the future of Pro football in this town.. now all that, all those months of hope and optimism are completely shot to hell because of this pathetically stupid decision.

    Frankly, I don't care if this guy is a combination of Peppers *AND* LT together, it will not help that dull sickening feeling when watching this team lose 7 - 3 games this season.


    One question for you Mr. McNair: How exactly did you get to be a billionaire while being such an idiot?

    I just heard this like 10 minutes ago coming back from dinner. What the f*ck! WHAT THE F*CKING HELL JUST HAPPENED!

    If they weren't going to take Reggie, trade the damn pick. I don't buy this no trade partners BS. This is freaking absurd. Now I gotta read this 15 page monster of a thread.

    You already proved your idiocy by saying that you wouldn't take this guy if he was as good as LT.

    LT is one of the top 3 greatest defensive players EVER... and he was clearly the dominant force on two super bowl teams, and a team that was almost always in contention when he was healthy.

    All you're doing is proving the stereotype that offense is "sexy", and supposedly gets more "fans"... and defense is totally taken for granted.

    All I have to say to this is... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

    I hate the pick.

    They didn't maximize their value for the number one spot at all.

    This sucks.
