[Fox 26 Sports] Rockets Use Disabled Player Exception on Trevor Ariza

Can someone post the list of Centers i just posted on the forum as a new thread, since im new to this clutchfans does not let me post a thread yet.

I am amazed that the league granted it so quickly, they must feel sorry for us.

So who else would sign Artest now knowing that we would still have our MLE right now. Ron would've definitely signed with the Rockets but we didn't offer enough.

according to the Yahoo sports article the Rockets applied for it weeks ago which means that they knew about Yao's injury going into the draft and well before any free agency moves.

I am actually thinking Yao's injury might have been exaggerated a little bit. What I heard is that Yao probably will go with a cast for 3 month to see if the fracture will heal naturally. So Morey hasn't completely given up next season just yet.

 

What did he do? I think its great they gave the injury exception, but its common sense about which to use.

 

I agree, it is not really that big of a move, any competent GM would do it.....I am just happy the NBA granted it.

I am also glad we are able to use our MLE for more players.

I triple agree why is this such big news ? Okay we sign Ariza like we knew we would and we sign a bunch of unproven 2nd rounders with the MLE..... Whats the Splash am I missing it ? I had to change my Artest wallpaper on my computer and I couldn't think of one Rocket to put up in place of him, who Ariza ? He's still unproven as well. Not trying to sound like a jerk but right now this current lineup is still lottery bound. I do take my hat off to Morey because I do trust he'll get the Rockets back to contending again but when he signs a Big Name via trade or however the Wizard does it then I'll wash his car and jump for joy and go nuts ......
