Yes, you are right.It was one of Yao's worst performances. I'm not trying to belittle what Woods did,but we don't know what shape he is in.

My favorite part of that highlight video was the layups he made. I haven't seen one of our bigs other than Scola do that since Yao went down.
He sucks. Despite being 7-2, he's weak as hell and not very athletic to go with it. There's no way he can beat out anyone to get a spot in the rotation. So I guess since he won't play anyways, it doesn't matter if he can play or not. Just pray no one gets hurt or in foul trouble so urgent that the big stiff will need to play.
How about having Woods,Kandi, or Mccoy on the roster from the get go. Give him time to work into the system spelling Yao 15mins a night. Having big guys on the bench is like having insurance . You really don't like paying the premium until something goes wrong. No one off the streets can replace yao's production, but when deke is the sole backup, I have a problem. Maybe under proper coaching or less pressure, like mikki moore who came back after being out of the league, guys can be productive. Getting guys this late is really poor judgement by morey. Its pretty much all they can do.I just wish they had done it in december instead of having 5 pgs.
No way. Maciej is a "PF" with no post game. Woods at least can you use his size for rebounds and putbacks. Hes not a bad passer for a big man either. He already becomes our biggest player next to Deke.
