Marcus Bank's career field goal percentage is : 42.7 %

Filp Murray's career field goal percentage is : 41 %

    They both have playoff experience.

Dan Langhi was a loser, you cant evem breath his name with Padget's name.

And Novak has already contributed more than Langhi and he hasnt even started playing yet.

I HATE Langhi! He is a loser, in fact lets make it with a captial LOSER ;)

    This sucks
I like Padgett, but as far as I'm concerned, Novak should be getting those minutes. I hate Flip Murray, and i'm not high on Banks.

This has to be the worst offseason ever. I have no idea what will restore my faith in the team.

I can't tell you how angry I am.

Isn't Ruben Patterson a free agent? Kobe Stopper may be able to help on offense and defense at the 2

Don't think so. He had a $7.8M player option. Hard to imagine he passed that up for the MLE or the expectation that the 4 under the cap teams valued him more than $7.8M.

I'll be satisfied (this offseason has already been a tragedy, might as well make the best of it) if we can get 2 of these 3:

    Marcus Banks
    Fred Jones
    Trevor Ariza

I would consider taking Padgett at the league minimum if we can't get another big man like Reggie Evans (though I really don't like him).

One name that I haven't heard much is Jumaine Jones. I think I've heard that he is an above average defender and good 3 point shooter. Of course, now that I think about it....he plays SF doesn't he? If he could slide over to SG then I would consider him. He isn't as young or athletic as Fred Jones, but is definitely a better shooter. I'd take him for the cheap if it was possible.

One player I pray we avoid....FLIP MURRAY!

Flip Murray = younger Derek Anderson
Banks = younger and shorter Bogans
    Padgett?

    I am pumped.

All we need is Banks and a 2-guard, like a Pat Carroll or Rashad Anderson, and we're set, assuming we sign JL3.

do you guys think the management is working on a bigger deal? i mean the battier trade came out of no where and socked us over the head on draft night when we couldn't get Roy. CD and the crew could be pulling something similar once the mike james debacle was over. Plan X?

Well, to be fair to Banks, last year was really the first season that he’s ever received consistent playing time. It was essentially his rookie season. Mike James was in a similar situation when he came into the league and only shot 39% his first three seasons. Banks shot a high percentage (48%) when given playing time last season and was an efficient shooter throughout his college career (fg% above 50% in 4 years).
