    CD on 610 sports today said they have some other players on hold right now who want to talk to the Rockets but Mike James is their main guy, their top priority, and they want to get to that first before doing some other things.

    When I was driving home, I was listening to ESPN radio up here in Dallas and Galloway made a statement saying that a source told him that Mike James was a done deal for the Mavs which I thought was insane, he did go onto talk about the Rockets and their intrest but thought it was a pretty bold statement to make.

    He didn't say who his source was but just said that last week this same source had told him that the Terry deal was done, so take it for what you will, personally I won't believe it till it official, still think we'll get good new by tomorrow this time

    This is awful, I was really anticipating Mike James coming here, there isn't any other player in FA that has his worth. I had high high high hopes about our team had Mike James joined our team. Now... I don't know what to feel.

    We don't know if it's a done deal. Maybe CD doesn't know about it but the Rockets probably have access to inside news. If CD and Lindsey are planning to meet him on Thursday we might still have a chance.

    Chill. Galloways source is full of it. I mean unless I was hearing things 610 had a little blurb with CD about meeting Mike James tomorrow and CD said Mike James is their total focus right now so much so that everything else is on hold. And I don't know, if Mike James was at the toyota center today, he's not there because he's signing with Dallas, unless he's a vindictive sob.

    What the hell why would he sign with the Mavericks when he'd be backing up Terry or unless he plays as an undersized SG. I am so pissed right now and why the Mavericks. If we dont get James what other free agents are there. I dont want Marcus Banks or any other scrub! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    I think I would lose it ... completely, if James snubbed us for the Mavs, but after trading him to the lowly Raptors, I can hardly blame him if he tells us to go to hell.

    If we do lose out on the Mike James sweepstakes, that Battier trade looks even worse than it did a week ago (which I thought was impossible).

    CD, Morey, and Lindsey better get thier act together ... and fast.

    IC2000 has had a solid track record as far as a Clutchfans 'insider'...I am just sitting here dying to know what he meant by that...Damn you IC2000 for adding more stress to my life! ;)

    Mike James is as over rated as ANYONE ever mentioned on these boards. If I could, I would disrupt these meetings as much as possible.... Doesn't anyone remember this ball-hogging, poor 3 point shooting disaster when HE WAS ALREADY ON THE TEAM? He has one okayish year on the worst team in the league with no one to defer to and suddenly he's Superman? Must be a great crop of herb in Houston this summer....

    Yup, I remember IC reported the first time Tmac was injured this past season in practice before the news broke out. He seems pretty credible to me.

    I bet Clutch knows the deal
