I'm not really into alfredo sauce in general but I know a lot of people that have had that dish and really like it.
Had Papa Mio's yesterday. It was great! Our pasta/sauces were freshly made and tasted amazing without an overly, heavy feeling afterwards. I especially like that their tomato sauce isn't overpowering like most other places. Best part was that our entrees were under $10 for some very quality food. The chef/owner even greeted us towards the end and was extremely friendly. I told him that we found this place on Clutchfans and he just laughed. Highly recommended like the OP said.
Nundini on Sheppard, north of I10 has pretty good food for a good price. The wine is priced great as well. They also have good gelato and they sell various specialty italian food products (it's actually a distributor station with a restaurant inside)
Either Papa Mio's is going to go broke or they are going to have to raise their prices. They are in a nice part of town and they are charging 5 bucks for pasta.
Pizza and gelato are good but food not really good. Also pizza is pricey but it's gourmet so maybe it comes with the territory.
Went back and had gnocchi pesto, my friend had lasagna. Wow, this was also good. Had some pizza too but it was so so compared to the rest of the food. Next time will try manicotti.
