    There is a somewhat obscure bit of trivia about this picture. Yeah, I know that's really vague and sounds silly, but :

    This coin flip wasn't decided by Charlie Thomas, technically... it was decided by his daughter, who chose to call "heads"... and it came up heads, so we got to select Ralph Sampson.
    The next year was another coin flip between the Rockets and the Blazers to see who would get the top pick. So did Thomas call that one? Nope. The Blazers had the call and called "tails". The coin came up "heads" again, giving the Rockets the #1 pick and Hakeem Olajuwon.

    Can't find a picture, but I wish I had that old Southwest Lincoln dealership sign (longhorn skull) that was a landmark on 59 whenever the fam was going to the Summit or Astrodome back in the day.

    Don't care what the article says, you have to fee he died at least partly of shame/sadness, for what the franchise has become.
