I do think that it would be wrong for McFail not to get a job simply because he went to a Trump rally. As much as I hate Trump, it is not right to discriminate against someone due to political reasons. McFail won't get another coaching job simply because he sucks as a coach and then burned his bridge with the Rockets and Harden. This is similar to Hollywood and actors - most of the actors lean to the left but there are some who are right-leaning like Clint Eastwood and they are still going to get acting jobs.

It's all about context though. supporting a racist and then working in a field where you work close with black people probably isn't a good idea.

Agreed and he probably should have told his boss, I mean wife, that he was going to stay home. But maybe he thought by going he was going to prevent a big fight or blowup - been there, done that!

Ah, he is okay. He is just blowing some steam off - we are all a little bit angry these days thanks to the moron in charge of our country. But hey that is what the Trump wants - he wants people who are against him to get mad at each other and turn against themselves. It is part of his MO in controlled chaos...he is such a despicable person.

Wanting to be a HC and going to a Trump rally is probably not a smart move.

If I were an owner of a team, I would strongly worry that it would cause issues in the locker room.

    Donald Trump is very polarizing.

Trump has dragged America up from the dregs Obama left it in... and you hate his accomplishments as leader of the free world?

You got me...I didn't realize it wasn't relevant to a conversation about basketball players not supporting Trump that they could support some of his policies without supporting him. I didn't realize that conversations only had to stay on one track and couldn't branch out. I so humbly apologize and will never make the mistake of trying to branch a conversation again.

if you read back to your first response you set that rule. we are talking about trump supporters not people who support just one policy so its irrelevant. the idea is that its weird that a nba guy would support trump, its a rare thing. you're the one saying that supporting one policy doesn't make them a supporter so Im not sure how you bringing up that some may support one policy is relevant or in disagreement with my statement that trump supporters in the nba are weird or a rare site since trump is racist .

Let me ask you something. If the rule that you followed brought you to this... of what use was the rule?
