Very, very shocking news in the basketball world...After his tenure with the Rockets, he had to go back to the developmental league (NBDL) to prove his game. He's a true warrior! He was finally getting ready to hit his stride with the Hawks. Rest in peace JC..May God bless your family..
RIP Jason My sympathy goes to all of his family, friends, and people who knew him this is a sad day if it teaches us anything it is to live our life's to the fullest we never know when we might go
Being nothing more than a scrappy player and probably a scrappy person in all areas of life, this gives me even more respect for Jason and players like him who have to work very hard to make a place for themselves at the table. Few have the natural skills and athleticism that makes it all easy. Most of us have to work hard for everything we have. He was an example of someone who persevered to earn a place in the league. God bless Jason and his family.
I recommend you read that article about Jason Collier in the Houston Chronicle. Do you see how they all talk about what a great person he was? About how nice he was? How everything said is glowing praise? If your statement is any real indication as to who you are, nobody is going to say those kinds of things about you when you're gone. You should wise up now, while you have time to change that.
I am in shock that it even happened, i just don't get it, I dunno... that is so sad. Best of wishes to all that knew and loved him.
Shocked when I first heard in on NBATV. Remeber there was one article posted here how he strived to be a NBA starter on Rox. RIP, Jason.
