    Very, very shocking news in the basketball world...After his tenure with the Rockets, he had to go back to the developmental league (NBDL) to prove his game. He's a true warrior! He was finally getting ready to hit his stride with the Hawks. Rest in peace JC..May God bless your family..

    Being nothing more than a scrappy player and probably a scrappy person in all areas of life, this gives me even more respect for Jason and players like him who have to work very hard to make a place for themselves at the table. Few have the natural skills and athleticism that makes it all easy. Most of us have to work hard for everything we have. He was an example of someone who persevered to earn a place in the league.

    I recommend you read that article about Jason Collier in the Houston Chronicle. Do you see how they all talk about what a great person he was? About how nice he was? How everything said is glowing praise?

    If your statement is any real indication as to who you are, nobody is going to say those kinds of things about you when you're gone. You should wise up now, while you have time to change that.

    Remeber there was one article posted here how he strived to be a NBA starter on Rox.
