    This is terrible to hear... Any player who dies this young is a tragedy.

    Only two days ago, he was playing in a preseason game... my condolences to Collier's family and friends.

    we gave him ****.

    but i was watching college game day or something, and i caught the bottom line thing and it said Jason Collier dead of possible Cardiac Arrest. My jaw absolutely dropped. I was like WOW. That is pretty shocking, and way sad. He was only 28. Nobody should die this young.

    Incredibly sad. I just hope the exact cause of death is determined. If he had a specific defect, will it be detectible in future physicals of NBA players and other athletes?

    wnes, I had a college friend who died suddenly at 25 of a heart problem, so Collier's passing is not necessarily related to him competing in the NBA. Let's wait and see.
