OP I resent the title "former Rocket" Wtf??? He is only our greatest player, greatest player in history of organized sport in Houston, one of the greatest players ever to bounce a basketball....

 

If LeBron or Kobe did the same, would you be saying " Former player" ?

 

I know you’re using sarcasm, because we all know that there is much in this country, and in Texas (that is left), of historical value. It’s true, even though our history, except for that of our Native Americans, is so short compared to that of the Old World. So much has been destroyed on the altar of “progress,” when it really was for profit. Our children and grandchildren, as well as many grownups today, won’t or don’t know what has been lost.
