What kind of idiot lawyer does he have that he hasn't renegotiated his payments? Dude's been out of the league for 8 years. That said, he's pretty much made it known that he has no intentions of taking care of any sense of responsibility in his life. It's really just pathetic at this point. But he was once a good basketball player.
I can't say i feel bad for him or any NBa player who can't keep up with their child support. They made the decision to sleep with the woman, made the decision to keep wasting their money, made the decision not to save some for their kids or invest properly. I know there's always exceptions to this, but in Maxwell's case, i think it's fair to say he was being irresponsible.

i agree with the hot and cold streaks, but the difference is, you know that Maxwell could score 50 points on any given night, you know Rafer can't. I think Max led the league in the 3 point attempts one year.

Why couldnt this case have been tried in Texas? There they might made HER pay HIM for even having the pleasure of being in the Maxwell inner circle of trust. I think the real issue is just the amount. I gotta blame the woman as well for the reason you stated, but once the kid is born, it's a money issue.
