Not his last year. My business partner was at this game.

    He should've stayed retired.

Have the Vikings got as far as they did with Favre than with Cousins?

Yes. Both Favre and Cousins got the Vikings to the NFC Championship. Neither could take them to the Super Bowl but no Vikings QB since Tommy Kramer in the 70's has gotten the Vikings to the Super Bowl.

I can't believe I can still I can be surprised with the greed and stupidity of people but for others to go along with it that high up in the state government?

    For a volleyball stadium?

    For the daughter of Favre?

If you wrote this a script of a movie, it would be too illogical.

From what I've heard from a friend who's family is well connected in MS is that Favre is worshipped there and gets away with a lot. At the same time if this had hapenned in WI I wouldn't be surprised either. While Cheeseheads were upset at him when he left to go the Jets and then the Vikes all is forgiving now and many still hold him in very high esteem. In WI it probably wouldnt' be on the state level but I could see a county or loca city official agreeing to bend the law for Favre.

This probably happens a lot, remember when Dream owned all those carwashes in Houston?

And again, I'm with Dream, people shouldn't be driving around with dirty cars.

I know he is worshiped there, but that still does not explain how 2 governors went along with it or that anybody thought they could use federal funds earmarked for something else.

It was just a matter of time before somebody started snooping.

The really evil part to me is Favre kept asking for more.

He got that idea from the Trump family. Peas in a pod. It takes some really pathetic human beings to stoop that low, and take money intended for children with Cancer.

Bigger issue for me is . . .1. I doubt this is the first time something like this happened
    2. I doubt it was the last time something like this happened

I'm sure he's always been a POS. The football exploits shined brighter for a long time but without that he'd probably just be another loser meth head...

It could be worse. At least he’s not stealing it for himself. He must **really** care about USM athletics.

How the heck does he think that is going to pass muster?

Trump got everybody out here acting like they can just deny any and everything, and it will all be good.

This is going to be fun.
