May have already been posted but just saw that Toro is having a very nice season for the Red Sox. 100+ ABs with an OPS over 800

 

I mentioned him in the hypothetical trades thread. I think he’d make a good target if nothing else is available. LH bat with some upside and versatility who shouldn’t cost much.

I was reading an article about All-Star snubs and happened upon Phil Maton's name. I had no idea the kind of season he was having for the Cardinals this year. Good for him. Hopefully he's at least cracked one smile about it.

 

Joey Loperfido crushing it in Toronto (only 2 games, I know), I still think we gave up on the kid too early.

 

Surprised the headline didn't say "Former Astros pitcher Wade Miley is a druggie"

 

I really thought that his pitching style would bring longevity since he never threw very hard. However, he lost command with age.
