Which is why I've always been a Bonds defender. It's always cracked me up how people complain about the media until they're blue in the face, yet they let them form a perception about one single person like Bonds.

I've never heard of one person (and I'm sure someone will post something to the contrary) who had a personal experience with Bonds who didn't say he was a great guy. I'd rather judge him on how he treats the fans rather than how he treats the members of the press.

This just confirms two things to me:

    1) Armstrong is probably an *******. This is not surprising, you would almost have to be to have achieved what he has.
    2) He's probably innocent - otherwise he'd be more concerned about keeping these guys in the fold.

That being said, I'm not that impressed by Armstrong. Take a good look at his strongest competitor :D

This dude is a man servant. He's an oncall 24-7 gopher that makes Armstrong's bed, and is a total leach. He sounds like a scorned woman on tv. His expectations are beyond reality to think that Armstrong would employ him for 3 years and help him open a bikeshop. If it happens, it's due to the kindness and generosity of Armstrong. Lance is under no such obligation. Besides, the lackey position was employment at will. No self respecting man would act like such a b****.

    My issues with all this:

    1. Timing couldn't be more suspicious, between the steroids buzz in the media/Congress and Lance about to announce that he'll ride this year's Tour de France.

    2. Fired employee = major axe to grind

    3. Absolutely no proof at all. Not remembering the exact name allows him to hedge on details.

    4. Dude looked like a freaking pothead on Sportscenter. :D

It could all be true, but there's a lot of red flags.

Anyone have any idea whether aondorgens improve endurance? I've never heard that they do.

Maybe he should have 'seen' a different drug.
