It has nothing to do with that. Nutritional science is very young. No one argues that diet effect the body. The issue here is whether meat has positive or negative effect on general health(not fitness). Some studies like the china study in this movie supports the theory that eating meat increases your chances of cancer and heart disease. While other studies support eating moderate amounts of quality meat is beneficial. No one argues that eating processed foods and refined sugar isn't bad for you, so I don't even know why some posters have even brought that subject up.
