HAHA i remember seeing that during the rox-raps game. quite a funny quarrel i might add. but yeah, it must be somewhat awkward if MJ becomes a rocket again. :D

I agree, but if we really believe we're going after it all in '06, we can't be looking for 3 new starters.... 1 starter maybe, then put some good talent on the bench ready to come in and contribute......

If only two starters will return as starters this coming season, then we'd be lucky to get into the playoffs.

As long as those two starters are named Tracy Mcgrady and Yao Ming, we WILL be in the playoffs

Didn't Juwan take Derrick Anderson out of the DAL vs SA playoffs with a hard foul? They are all professionals. I don't see a problem.

For as much cash as he is making, he DAMN well better!.

On the real, I know he will. Juwon is a professional and won't b**** about this signing if it does indeed happen. I would think he would use common sense in seeing the bigger picture but then again, most of you saw those eyes in those photos from the store in South Beach.

You can never say for sure what would happen if he was able to play. Juwan missing that series forced JVG to put TMac on Dirk. If Howard was guarding Dirk that series, he might have lit up the Rockets like he did in the regular season.

I believe it worked for MIA... as long as there is chemistry there shouldn't be any problems at all with the line up... keyword being shouldn't

    PRESS RELEASE!!!

Trading Mike James WAS a HUGE mistake!

He is a warrior...full of heart and fight.

Who cares if he can't play with TMac or Juwan....TMac can't stay healthy....Juwan will be in the next trade (if there is one).

TMac and MJames had issues about MJames not looking for TMac and being a shoot first PG. During the Dallas playoff series MJ deliberately did not look at TMac and get him the ball instead jacking up some shots. TMac didn't like it and said something to him.
Last season J Howard was taking up for TMac because MJ was riding TMac pretty hard (trash talk) and scoring at will.

I asked JVG about TMac and James and he said it wouldn't be a problem- I think TMac is pretty laid back and isn't holding anything towards James.

well because chemistry is the most important thing in "team" basketball, which the addition of shane seems to implicate that we are moving to, adding james might be a stupid decision

Yea, I can already envision it. Hot on the heels of the fabulous draft night block buster draft night deal of Rudy Gay + Stromile Swift for Shane Battier we will trade Juwan Howard for a Vin Baker + our 2007 first round draft pick!!!! Way to go CD.

It was a mistake but considering what happened last year I doubt we would have gotten to the playoffs with Mike James, and even if we did t-mac wasn't healthy so we woudln't have gotten far.

But IF we do get mikes james back I'd say it worked out in the long run because now we'd have a good starter and a good backup in Alston.

That's the point. And maybe a starting backcourt.

But if we hadn't traded Mike James, we probably would have had a much lower 1st round draft pick which we couldn't have traded to Memphis.
