Forget Thornton, is DMo in JB's doghouse? If so, why?

I really don't care why he doesn't play. I've seen it before. They don't respect DMo. Morey doesn't respect players who are not superstars and he doesn't have to jump around. Too bad DMo likes the city of Houston a lot and he's a restricted FA. If that wasn't the case he'd leave this summer and never turn back.

I know that a stop cone can rebound, but when you have dwight howard as your center that shouldn't matter. D mo can open up so many things offensively, low post/ highpost.
three years later he is still the only one that knows how to defends a pick and roll and the only willing one(i guess capela now too) to set a screen with manliness.

 

Or maybe DMo doesn't respect rebounding because he sucks at it

Always wondered if you hate DMo, wasn't entirely sure like with other Jones only fans, but now I know. Ignored. Stupid argument. Dude who has 10 inches bigger wingspan and is 7-3 grabs more rebounds than DMo? waow. DMo leaves rebounds for his teammates, Jones grabs rebound away from his teammates hands, causing own goals and ball going out of bounds.

It is just terrible. I had my time with Terrence and he is developing very slowly, too slowly so I rather have a better PF than him or DMo.

It is just while Terrence is still here, he will have good games and bad games.
We should acknowledge his good games and critique his bad ones.

We do the same to DMo. There are way better players than Dmo in this league for you to worship. That is all. Again.

 

Cause DMO is oozing rust out there.

 

He was playing about 20 MPG and averaging 10 points on over 50% shooting. He was clearly coming around in the 6 games prior.

Then over the last 3 games he hasn't even played enough to work up a sweat, it make no sense.

 

We won 3 straight games, 2 against quality competition. D-Mo had a positive +/- in all 3 games.

Then he gets glued to the bench, and we've lost 2 of 3. Not saying it for sure, but D-mo could have been enough to win those 2 close games if he had been allowed to play. It's really hard to round into form when you aren't on the floor, we saw last year all D-mo needs to start playing well was regular minutes.

This. I love D-Mo but he MUST learn how to box out and rebound.
The 2015-2016 Rockets are currently 12-2 when outrebounding their opponent.

 

Don't buy into the player only fans from this dude. Whenever someone disagree with him concerning Dmo, he results to calling th a Jones Only Fan. Everybody on this board and across the league can see that Dmo isn't a good rebounder. They also knows he has a really good post move on offense.

My thing is if DMo wants more minutes, well let your play on the court force the coaches hand. Surprise everyone by becoming a monster on the boards. Start protecting the rim like a 7 footer should.

 

Have you really been watching basketball as long as you have and not understand the value of rebounds (and I know the championship Rockets were not great at OFFENSIVE rebounds)?!!!! Name a great PF who was not an adequate rebounder? Your center and PF have to be able to rebound at a certain level.

 

They got tons of rebounds at the end of the game last night.....still lost because it turns out that scoring is actually more important. I know, crazy.
