I still think Chris Andersen would be perfect for this team..

If he started, I guarantee that he'd be top 10 in rebounds and top 5 in blocks.

    He hustles.

    He rebounds REALLY well.

    He plays great defense.

He got a bad rep. because of the dunk contest, but who cares? He should have won last year.

You realize that there's a reason why he doesn't start on the worst team in the league, right?

And it's not because of just P.J. Brown.

Yes I think we need a PF as well, but I also admire the work Howard has done...he has performed consistently night in and night out...we still have a lot of dead weight on the team despite all the talent, such as Moochie and Vin Baker...they both will have expiring deals next season which will be attractive on the market, so theres no reason to think we might be able to deal them for a decent PF and still use our MLE to get Korver...If I was Philly I'd re-sign Dalembert since he is a decent big man with defensive skills and solid offensive skills that can still be developed...

With the way Mcgrady, Wesley, Barry, and James have been shooting, getting another outside shooter just doesn't seem like a priority to me. We have enough good shooters on the team.

Getting a rebounding/shotblocking power forward and a defensive specialist swingman are much bigger priorities.

The only shooter we need is...

    Shooter McGavin.

    Go back to your shanties!

Seriously, I think that what we need for next year is a banger. I think the old guys on the perimeter can go one more year, unless we find a PG for the future. Long-term, if we find a stud SG, we can move TMac to 3, but I don't think that's urgent.

Knock on wood - if Rudy Gay comes out this summer and falls in the draft, I hope we pick him. That guy will be a bonafide star in this league. He is only a 6-8 small forward but he will fit in nicely with him. He does everything. I am just salivating just by the mere though of having Rudy Gay on our team.

We can always get a PF in the FA market or even hang on to a Juwan_Padget_Badiane trio for one experiemental season.

Korver would be a good player to get if we lose Barry. With Yao and McGrady, we need players who do three things: (1) shoot well from range, (2) not turn the ball over, and (3) play half-decent D. Korver seems to do two of these three fairly well.

I never liked Korver's numbers and I think his rating in fantasy leagues is inflated. We could fill his position with a rent-a-vet and save long term cap space.

Marshall is getting old and his agent is probably looking for a hefty payday for his last long term contract. His asking price might be too high for us.

I guess CD has his work cut out for him on the PF front.
