Please....for the $!?!?!?! No thankyou.... I love KG's game. But I really don't care if he isn't on the Rox sqaud. He is making....way too much money. Damn, these players really are paid too much.

He sure as hell isn't 22 million dollars good.

If you are truly interested in winning titles, you CAN'T spend half of your cap on one player, particularly one that isn't a dominating scorer.

Garnett is perhaps the greatest complementary star in the game...but if you can keep the ball away from him, you can remove him from the equation. Hell, I've seen Eddie Griffin do a good job defending him.

    Garnett agrees to extension

My initial reaction to this is Garnett doesn't care about winning. I'm not saying he should do the organization any favors, but the Wolves have had so much trouble over the years partly because they couldn't afford to get Garnett help. How does he expect the team to improve when he kills their flexibility with his gargantuan salary? Not to mention any possibility of forcing a trade to another team if it all goes to pieces. If I find no reason to change this view after future reports, my respect for KG will go down.

I think kandiman is better than Cato although only marginally but SF is much better than Cassell. Who doesn't pull the trigger on this trade? Minnie or Houston? Not implying Steve is better than KG but they divided the biggest contract in the league, which they could use to sign 2 max contracts and got an all-star PG out of it. They can then trade kandiman and/or Cassell for whoever. Like I said not that I think it would happen, so you can blame me for getting some people's hopes up. :)

    Well...I agree with you!

    Garnett...the Timberwolves are his team.

The poor dopes must feel they can really win it all to pay such ridiculous money. Their recent acquisitions notwithstanding, I still don't see them being even top four in the WC. Even Phoenix and us will give them all they can handle.

Sheer folly to pay such ridiculous salary for this type of player. A Shaq, Hakeem, Jordan, Magic, yes. KG? Nope. Enjoy your continued first-round exits, hee hee.

Better for a franchise to suffer a couple years and explode to the top on the rebuilding wave, then to continually languish in above-average-ville.

Minnesota was almost top 4 in the west last year before this off seasons pickups. They will for sure be top 4 this year.

Rockets are my 2nd team but theres no way they will compete with the wolves this year......THIS year anyways. Rockets have a lot of growing pains to go through this year.

    Ugh no edit.

I meant already instead of almost as far as Minne being top 4 last year.
