This is just based on the first season, but I think the Rockets can be contenders in the following years with or without Howard

Off the court maybe. Finally someone mentioning:

"Jeremy Lin set to anchor the point guard position."

"Like Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Shaquille O’Neal before him–this was seen as a marriage made in heaven–joining the preeminent player at his position with the vaunted Laker dynasty. Dwight Howard would own Hollywood and the nation’s second largest market."

Well, we have Dream legacy and tutoring here and the world's largest market with Lin and Asia.

You honestly think he's hit his ceiling? The dude is already good, arguably very good, and there's no reason to believe he won't be even better next year.

forbes can't even put out decent financial market articles.....so the novice level of their bball coverage is not surprising

pretty poor choice of superlative given that he described harden as 'talented'. also who calls a point guard an anchor.

What new endorsements or films has Howard was able to obtain this past season from being apart of the Lakers? Anyone knows?

I think the cat that wrote the column is a bit mixed up. Chandler is the young talented player set to anchor the small forward position, James being the budding superstar shooting guard. It's Forbes, of course, but you'd think they could get details like this straight.

I mean, we know all this, so why can't a prominent business magazine?
