Chandler has been on record saying that he has known Dwight since his high school days in Orlando. But that doesn't mean they knew each other well. I'm sure he met him at some basketball camps or tournaments. Dwight probably gave him some small amount of recognition as a local high school star - but I doubt Dwight was spending much time hanging out with high school kids. He was clearly too busy impregnating various grown women.

As to the topic at hand - I love Chandler Parsons more with each passing day.

 

And I thought I couldn't love Chandler Parsons any further.

It is why, i truly believe that Parsons is gonna get a big contract once JLin's finishes out...

I look for the Rockets to trade Asik more than Lin...develop Beverly and Canaan...Let Lin walk, and give Parsons a 9 million deal plus.

And yes that would mean the Rockets will target a mid level asset for Asik. Personally instead of a 3rd star, i am starting to think that Morey would rather have 2 really good players who play well with Harden and Howard. One would be Parsons, and I would really be interested if Derrick Williams were on the table???(Kinda why im upset that Milsap is out of the picture).

That picture is soooo creepy. In fact, there are a lot of creepy pictures of Parsons. or maybe it is just that his hotness causes me to question my sexuality...um...changing the subject!

So...yeah, wow, Parsons has become a huge part of this franchise. From little known 2nd round pick, he has become the face of the team and a leader on and off the court. Considering his role in bringing Dwight to Houston and how much money that will generate for the team, he HAS to get a big time deal at the end of his current contract.

I hope Chandler is a Rocket for life. I hope his entire career is with Houston and that when he retires he either joins the front office or the coaching staff.
