jj and vdavis, you've got to be kidding me. both are studs are worth every penny.

regardless, i'm hesitant to call any nfl player overpaid. most have trouble walking when they retire.

Cortland Finnegan is way more overpaid than Joseph.

eh idk...would you really want Kareem as our #1CB? We have more depth on the line, not so much in the secondary.

As much as we hate him he's not bad. Not worth his contract but the guy can play. It hurts to say it too.

I still think Nnamdi is better than JJ (football is situational based on scheme) but JJ isn't overpaid.

    Can't believe Chris Johnson isn't top 10.

In the sense that Finnegan's deal is bigger.

Finnegan's been a big pickup for the Rams.

Watt is very good but there is no doubt, Joesph's leadership along with Manning has helped transform our defensive backfield from one of the worst in the history of the NFL to one of the best. He played great all of last year.

JJ may turn into the better player later, but remove JJoesph from our team and we our in serious problems.

The transformation has been miraculous but we've got to wait til we see some of these elite QB's before we jump to conclusions. Last year we only saw Brees and Ryan. Brees lit us up in the 2nd half.

I think we're elite. Just don't wanna jinx this thing or parade around slamming my chest like a Dallas fan.

Not to diminish anything Watt has done, but Phillips can create pass rushers. He can't create elite CB's. CB is the hardest position to master in the NFL outside of QB.

The list is totally baseless. Santonio Holmes, Vernon Davis and J-Jo could quit today and walk onto another team for the same or more money. Not to mention Darren "I'm literally the Raiders entire offense" McFadden.

I'm more overpaid than Vernon Davis, and I make $7.25/hr.

They completely shut down everybody not named Drew Brees. It was amazing.

This is especially dumb considering he didn't play a full season last year only because we didn't play our starters in the last game.

When I didn't see Mario William's name, I stopped paying attention.

If its based on stats alone, that's silly. You can't put a stat on him shutting off half of the field for receivers which is paramount for our defensive unit.

Not overpaid. Not a single bit.

So when you wanna read an article about the best new sports cars of next year, do you pick up a Home & Garden or Shape Magazine?

Forbes, stick to your strong suit.

    overpaid players:

    Haynesworth
    Chris Johnson
    Mario Williams

and you could debate about if Vick is overpaid or not, he ogt a $100 million contract and he wasnt very good last year (missing games too) and he hasnt look very well the first two weeks.

What about Dunta Robinson? I don't know exactly what his contract is for, but I remember it being similar to what Joseph is making and he's not nearly as good.

Forbes makes the worst lists/rankings in history. Given that NFL contracts are front- or back- loaded for salary cap purposes the whole idea here is defective anyway.
