It says Houston won 4 championships. I can only remember the Rockets won 2 NBA titles and the Dynamo won 2 MLS titles. Plus, The Oilers won 2 AFL titles, the Aeros won 4 titles in 3 different hockey leagues, and the Rice Owls won the College World Series in 2003.

Say what you want about women's basketball, but the WNBA *is* a professional sports league and the Comets won championships.

So, I'd say the article is wrong.

I might be inclined to read Forbes for business news.....sports news...not so much.

Dynamo as well. Houston is King when it comes to championships in second teer sports and minor league sports. Since the Rockets won their championships: Comets 4 titles, Dynamo 2, Aeros 1 and both the Aeros and Dynamo played for a championship but lost last year.

Obviously I think I'd rather have this than just having crap teams for decades, but still....

MLS is a minor league despite what the name says.

How is Cleveland not #1? Were the Indians really good at one point? (I don't watch baseball)

My question is, how do they come up with four losses in the championship round?

The Rockets in '81 and '86 and the Astros in '05; what am I missing?
