Michael Jordan said its not how you start, its how you finish.

    Tmac said it's on me.

I like Michael Jordan's statements better.

You found a way to include 3 people that I don't care about: your boyfriend Cassell, Kobe who my post was not about (it was a joke) and Garnett.

Yes, Kobe is better than Tmac. If you're gonna reply to somebody's post you should continue talking about that topic or something in the ballpark of that topic. Don't starting ranting about random thoughts in your head. I was talking about Tmac and 4th quarters.

Yesterday, I recommended that you get some psychological help. I guess you didn't take my advice

Your post reminds of one of those English quizzes: "which sentence doesn't belong here?"

A)Michael Jordan: It's not how you start it's how finish
    B)Tracy McGrady: It's on me

How are those sentences related in any way?

Then you need to fault Yao as well for disappearing throughout the entire playoffs.

I agree with that. His shot selection is not very good. He picked up the habit when he had to bail out the Magic so he would take a lot of difficult shots.
I don't think his shot selection is horrendous (Kobe's is similar), it's the fact that he doesn't make the diffucult shots like he used to, so you tend to remember the bad shots that he takes.

Dude, Tracy is #1. Why do you think he wears #1? Dream is #34 because he is the 34th best center ever. T-Mac is #1 Center, Forward and Guard by default. I would rename the Houston Rockets to the Tracy McGradies if I could. Imagine how many points in 33 seconds that team could score!!!

Heres the thing Tracy has always had bad shot selections, but like you said the thing is he doesn't make a lot of them like he did back in his prime. His shot just doesn't look the same anymore, I used to love Tracy shot is was a thing of beauty. Now it looks so flat and out of control.

lol you remember game 7 against the Suns when everyone pretty much said Kobe quit on the team? He didn't want to shoot the ball anymore and just kept passing it to his teammates. Then he threw his whole team under bus and demanded to be traded to Chicago. Yet all is forgiven once he started playing well again.

Tmac in 4th quarters.. he doesn't finish

Michael Jordan mentioned its not how you start, but how you finish.

That's why one of them is crying for joy from winning a championship
and one of them crying cause they can't get passed the first round.

    hint: finishing = 4th quarter
hint: i'm guessing Jordan is talking about the playoffs too
hint: the tmac era, no 2nd round appearances
hint: tmac is our highest played player

You always going to have that fringe element of fans here. If you make a poll who's better Hakeem or Yao, I bet you'll get fans that vote for Yao.

The most glorified 1st round player exiter of all time. I totally agree with that.

ps. I thought Jordan losing to Boston in the 1st round was the best of the 1st round losers.

it even made it the nba's 60 greatest moments. I never see any of Tmac's glorified first round games as a GREATEST NBA MOMENT OF ALL TIME.

I know you are the smarter of the Tmac fans here, but you need to keep your lemmings in check sometimes dude. they are making clutchfans look like where dumb tmac fans reside.

Sometimes you can be an ass. Wait I take that back you're an ass all the time. You acting as if Tracy in his prime wasn't a great player I don't give a damn if he didn't make it out the first round at the time. Like it or not he was on the same level as Kobe. As a matter of fact I have a question for you in 02-03 season where would you had ranked Tracy as the best players in the game? Because the way you like to bring up how he never been pass the first round, it seen likes you don't think he was a great player at any point of his career.

this is exactly what all the tmac fans feel.

yeah, tmac is/was a great player if you define greatness in statistics.
tmac won me my fantasy basketball league. i thank him for that. he appeared to be the living up to his hype when we were up 2 against Dallas. he carried the Rockets when Yao was out. but truly 'great' players are determined by their entire careers, that's what Clyde Drexler told me.

To me, he's Dominique Wilkins with a better jumper, minus the toughness and durability. Nique was the better dunker of course.

in my opinion after the 2002-03 season T-mac had me believing he could one day be the greatest of all time. I know eh. it's funny to say now but it's true. He was so talented for a young player and had so much potential. A more developed offensive set than Kobes at the time he could do what he wanted.

I watched close to all 82 games Orlando played that year. He was mvp to me. They looked like lost sheep without him. If t-mac had some decent role players who could finish plays he easily would've been racking up 10-12 assists a night plus the 32 points he was dropping.

If you watch some of their games (not t-mac highlights on youtube) most of the points he would score would be bail out points for the other 4 guys cause they couldn't do anything in the first 18 seconds of the shot clock.

We've all seen what a less athletic t-mac does with role players...wins 22 in a row. You can't argue that he wasn't one of the best 5-6 years ago and is still top 10 material today when healthy.

Well, Tinman his career isn't exactly over yet (even though he makes it seem like it often lol). He could end up like Garnett and get put into a great situation and win a championship who knows. He could even steal one like Gary Payton did.
