For those who are upset with the Brad Miller signing, who did you want?

Biz was a starter on a 67 win team for Cleveland. Miller scores more than Big Z and has nearly the same production in rebounds. I dont think he is nearly the defensiv liability Big Z is. Its good to have a guy who can handle himself like a usual starting center. For instance? Today the Heat signed Big Z as their center. They have behind him? Looking into the likes of Magliore. All 3 points and 2 rebounds a game Magliore as their starting combo at center next to equally soft Bosh. So yes Miller is not a savior but he clearly would have been the best center on the Heat as their starter and also would start on some other teams as a center. 8 points a game is real good for a center off the bench and then throw in around 6 to 7 rebounds? Thats quality backup production from a guy who can also pass to others for cutters like Ariza and Martin near the baseline.

 

I was really hoping to get the Diesal, the MDP, the big catus or whatever he decide to be call now. And he could really be taken for cheap.

Imagine the space the 2 of them will cover in a 3-2 zone. And how deep the opposition team have to defend, leaving open AB and Martin.

 

Shaq is asking for 8 million per year for at least 2 years and still wants to start. He wasn't interested in Houston either.
